MOUNT NIORD 2690m

This peak appears like a reddish junk heap. Mt Niord can be climbed from Wee Sandy Lake or from the Cariboo Creek drainage on the west side of the divide.

Route:
1. The divide (south ridge) is followed on the traverse of the Valhallas. The east ridge is an easy descent. FRA Unknown.
2. From the Un. 2640m – Niord col (see Un. 2640m and the traverses), the north ridge is a rotten Class 3 climb, 3.5 hours from the road in Caribou Creek (II,3).
