This Rossland range summer hike climbs Mounts Lepsoe, Elgood & Plewman using the 7 Summits Trail.
Elevation gain: 700 m to Mt Elgood, 800 m to Mt Plewman.

Drive: Drop shuttle car(s) off at highway 3B approx. 4km south of the Nancy Greeene/7 summit pass.
From the Mining Museum, drive north on Hwy 3B, 20km to the Nancy Greene Summit at 1575m (5166′). Park at the paved highway parking area, the north Trailhead of the Seven Summits Trail (Strawberry Flats).
Trail/Route: Start at the Nancy Greene pass and the Lepsoe cabin. Climb up Berry Ridge to Mt Lepsoe; Descend 80 m to the trail and cross to Mt Elgood and back to the trail. Ascend 90 to the top of Mt Plewman. Total elevation gain to Elgood is 700m; add another 100m or so for Plewman. Mt Waldie is possible with a descent to Sheep Creek FSR. Descend via the Elgood notch into the Plewman basin and visit the 1947 plane crash site on the way down to Highway 3B or return the same way via the Sunspot Cabin or via the Plewman Ridge Trail and the new “old growth” trail.
