WOODBURY BLUFFS CLIMBING

Woodbury Bluffs (Woodbury Crag) is a crag near Woodbury Creek north of Nelson. The crag faces east and is very clean (by Kootenay standards). The crag is several hundred metres wide and 40 to 70 metres high. Most routes are half pitch sport climbs, although there are a few two-three pitch routes and some mixed routes. Go here and you’ll have the place to your self as it’s still off the radar of most area climbers.

About admin

I would like to think of myself as a full time traveler. I have been retired since 2006 and in that time have traveled every winter for four to seven months. The months that I am "home", are often also spent on the road, hiking or kayaking. I hope to present a website that describes my travel along with my hiking and sea kayaking experiences.
