LIONSHEAD CLIMBING

A 300m high rock monolith in the village of Robson across the river from Castlegar on the Columbia River. 49.33497, -117.68246

Most of the bouldering and climbing on Lion’s Head is on private property. The wall is divided between many landowners. Some get very upset if you climb in their backyard so the walls behind the pub and surrounding homes should not be used.
Bouldering – most is behind the trailer park.
Sport and Trad Climbing – on the western end of the wall. Acessed off the end of Horkoff Road.

Camping. None

About admin

I would like to think of myself as a full time traveler. I have been retired since 2006 and in that time have traveled every winter for four to seven months. The months that I am "home", are often also spent on the road, hiking or kayaking. I hope to present a website that describes my travel along with my hiking and sea kayaking experiences.
