I like to think of myself as a full-time traveller. I retired in 2006 at age 53 with a dream to see the world. Now, over nineteen years later, I have lived that dream. I have visited all 193 United Nations countries worldwide (the last was Tuvalu in October 2024). I am the most travelled Canadian of all time. I still plan on travelling. There is always somewhere new to explore.
My passions are walking, sea kayaking, and diving. These allow me to have intimate experiences exploring almost anywhere. This website will give you some ideas of places and things to do.
The Ideas page is about my many random thoughts.
TRAVEL NOMAD is a web book about my travels. There are hundreds of stories of travel gone sideways.
HIGH-FUNCTIONING ASPERGERS—The Source of Genius is a web book about the far end of the autistic spectrum. I believe genius is only possible in the autistic brain.
HIKING & CLIMBING the WEST KOOTENAY fulfills a dream of writing about one of the world’s most beautiful places.
