After visiting my 193rd UN member state in 2024, I still had a busy travel year in 2025. Almost all my travels were to revisit countries to see places missed on the first go around, add Nomad Mania Regions, Series destinations and World Heritage Sites
Feb 5-15. MEXICO. Puebla (Historic Centre WHS), Monasteries on the Slopes of Popocatepetl WHS, Cuernavaca (Robert Brady House), Veracruz. Rented a car.
Feb 15-20. COLOMBIA. Bogota, Leticia in the Bolivian Amazonia.
Feb 20-March 17. PERU. Ferry up Amazon, Iquitos, Cusco, Manu NP WHS in Peruvian Amazon with amazing wildlife, Ayacucho, Huancayo, Lima
Mar 17-22. BOLIVIA. Santa Cruz, Sucre
Mar 23-April 18. ARGENTINA. Many bus rides to see most of northern Argentina. 18 Nomad Mania regions. Cities: Salta, Córdoba, Mendoza, Buenos Aires.
April 18-25. CARIBBEAN. Curaçao, St Maartin/St Martin, St Barts.
Flew home via Miami, Phoenix, and Algodones, Mexico (for dental work).
June 2-Aug 7. CANADA. Drive across Canada to Newfoundland via Labrador. L’Anse Aux Meadows, Gros Morne, cod fishing. I could not get a ferry from NFLD to Nova Scotia, so I drove 3,300 km back through Labrador. New Brunswick.
Aug 7 – Sept 1. USA. Drive home via Maine, New York City, Washington, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison.
Oct 8- 22. INDIA. Ladakh, Kashmir, Chandigarh (Rock Garden), Lucknow, Kolkata.
Oct 23-Nov 7. CHINA. Nanning, Hainan, Guangzhou, Guangdong, Hunan South.
Nov 8-Dec 8. JAPAN. Osaka, Kyoto, rented camper van x 2 weeks, Hiroshima, Tokyo.
Dec 8-11. CHINA. Wenzhou. My 10th trip to China.
Dec 11-17. INDONESIA. Jakarta, Maluku Islands
Dec 18-Jan 1. PHILIPPINES. Mindanao (rented a car), Tacloban, Manila and area (rented a car).

July. Alaska Marine Highway. Bellingham, Washington, to Dutch Harbor, Aleutian Islands. Camping (tent, sleeping bag) on the covered upper deck is free, with greasy American food and free showers.
Sept-October. Rent a camper van in Switzerland, eastern France, and southern Germany. Several WHS and Series destinations.
Dec-Feb 2027. Venezuela (7 regions), Colombia (2 regions), Ecuador (2 regions), Panama (1 region), Costa Rica, Nicaragua (1 region), Honduras, and Guatemala.
