This is one of the high points just west of the Kinnaird Bluffs climbing area in south Castlegar.
Difficulty: B2 moderate
Time: 2 hours one way
Drive: From Castlegar, take Columbia Ave. (Hwy22) south towards Trail, just after the speed limit increases from 60 km/h to 70 km/h turn right onto 37th St, and keep left as you go up the hill. Drive to the end of the pavement.
From Trail watch for the turn lane for 37th Street on your left just as you reach the bottom of the hill after the speed limit drops from 90kmh to 70kmh.
Route: Start at the intersection of 37th Street and Sahlstrom Road in Castlegar. Follow a mostly open ridge, with a short rocky bit near the very top. Views to the east are the Columbia Valley and to the west of Blueberry Creek and Hwy 3.
