CLUTE LAKE AND LEVIATHAN LAKE TRAILS

CLUTE LAKE TRAIL
Accessed by boat just south of Verandah Point, this trail departs from the back of Campbell Bay (Campbell Bay Provincial Park, part of Kootenay Lake Provincial Park) on the roadless northeast side of Kootenay Lake. The moderate 7.5km trail follows an old road to a mountain lake where it is possible to camp.  3 hours one-way.
Campbell Bay is directly opposite Shutty Beach Marina on the west shore of Kootenay Lake, about 5 km north of Kaslo.

I would like to think of myself as a full time traveler. I have been retired since 2006 and in that time have traveled every winter for four to seven months. The months that I am "home", are often also spent on the road, hiking or kayaking. I hope to present a website that describes my travel along with my hiking and sea kayaking experiences.
