Drive: From Kaslo, drive west on Hwy 31A for 7.5 km to the Kokanee Park turn off (to the left) and turn right, go up an old track 1km to the K&S Wagon Road junction. Then go straight up the hill for another .7 km to the trailhead on the right.
Trail: This trail is a point-to-point walk with no special high point. Climb steadily on switchbacks for an hour, then head down on a gentle slope and end up on the Wagon Road and the Cross-Country Ski Area. There’s a forest, wildflowers and a riparian area with bridges and iridescent moss.
