Drive: ID-57 is the primary approach route into the Priest Lake section of the range. It is well paved until the west side of Priest Lake north of Nordman, where several Forest Service roads continue to the north.
0.0 miles. Caribou Creek Road runs NE up Caribou Creek from the top of Priest Lake, just west of Lionhead State Park.
3.5 miles from the lake take the right-hand fork southeast over several switchbacks toward Lookout Lake.
