More commonly a mountain bike trail, it is also a nice hike. Requires a shuttle.

Drive: From Kaslo, drive west on Hwy 31A for 7.5kms to the Kokanee Park turrnoff (to the left) and turn right, go up an old track 1km to the K&S Wagon Road junction. Then go straight up the hill for another .7km to the trailhead on the right. 

Trail: This trail is a point-to-point walk with no special high point. Climb steadily on switchbacks for an hour, then head down on a gently slope and end up on the Wagon Road and the Cross-Country Ski Area. There’s forest. wildflowers and a riparian area with bridges and iridescent moss.
