SUNSET MOUNTAIN   2610m   8563′
Located just west of Outlook Mountain in the southwest corner of Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park. One can ski to the summit from Sapphire Lakes.

Difficulty: moderate
Elevation gain: 1100′ from Glory Basin
Key elevations: Sapphire Lakes 7400′; Summit 2610m (8563′)
Season: early July through September
Access: Difficult

Access: From Glory Basin 

Sunset Mountain can be climbed from Glory Basin containing Sapphire Lakes. The basin can be reached by 3 ways
1. Lemon Creek trail to Nilsik Creek trail.  It is a long hike.
2. Lemon Creek
3. From Kaslo Lake via Lemon Pass.
Pleasant Class 2 climb to the summit.
