The trail to Rockslide Lake is an easy walk over a low pass, through an ever-changing wildflower display. Rockslide Lake, just below the pass, is the headwaters of Falls Creek. It is a good fishing lake, stocked regularly by the Ministry of Environment.

0.0 From the junction of Highwya 3A and 6 at Playmor, travel north towards Nakusp 23.5km. Turn right onto a gravel road marked Pedro Creek Road.
23.8km Turn left onto Pedro Creek FSR (steep gravel road)
33.8km Turn right onto a road with tall stakes painted orange at the top.
34.8km Park well off road. The trail begins on the left-hand side opposite the 11km sign.
Trail: The trail goes over a low pass. A rough trail goes around the edge of the lake giving access to the entire lake. There are no facilities, but campers have made a small clearing that will accommodate a tent.
If the fish aren’t biting, the rock slide is fun to climb for an eagle-eye view of the area. Or you can eat huckleberries depending on the season.
On the walkout, there is a good view of the Valhallas.
