CODY CAVES INTERPRETIVE LOOP

Beside the well known caves, this is the short interpretive trail above ground.

Location: Cody Caves Provincial Park west of Ainsworth
Difficulty: A1 easy
Elevation Gain: +117m
Distance: 2.6kms
Time: 45 minutes
Season: June through October
Access: Good 2WD low clearance
Map: 82F/15

Drive: From Ainsworth Hot Springs, drive 3.5 km north on Highway 31 and turn left for the park. Drive 10.7 km with all junctions signed to the Cody Caves parking lot.

Trail: Climb through forest after the tour booth. At .3 km. meet the return loop junction. Pass the outlet stream from the caves. .7 km cave entrance. Book tours in advance with Cody Cave Tours.
Read interpretive signs. At 1.7 km, meet Krao Creek and descend. At 2.3kms complete the loop.
