MOUNT GROHMAN

MOUNT GROHMAN    2295m   7531′
Walking up Grohman Creek is a good early-season hike along a spectacular creek and waterfall.
Mount Grohman is a lovely off-trail ridge-line hike. The access road takes you way up in the alpine. The route is surrounded by prominent peaks and landmarks. It is easy to get turned around on the ridges, especially on the hike back.
Grohman Creek also gives a backdoor entrance to Pulpit Rock.

I would like to think of myself as a full time traveler. I have been retired since 2006 and in that time have traveled every winter for four to seven months. The months that I am "home", are often also spent on the road, hiking or kayaking. I hope to present a website that describes my travel along with my hiking and sea kayaking experiences.
