ASHNOLA RIVER ROAD: turn S off Hwy. #3, 3 km. W. of Keremeos, cross covered bridge and follow paved road till it turns to dirt; at km. 11.8, Crater Mtn. FSR goes R; at km. 13, pass BCFS rec site “Red Bridge”; at km. 14, Ewart Creek FSR goes L; at km. 19.2, cross park boundary; at km. 22.4, reach Cathedral Lodge private road; at km. 23, pass Lakeview Trail head; at km. 25, pass Buckhorn Campground (BC Parks); road is said to extend to km. 48; good 2WD road at least to Buckhorn

LAKEVIEW CREEK PRIVATE ROAD: gated; turn off Ashnola River road at km. 19.2; must take lodge’s 4 WD vehicle; 16 km. (1 hr.) to lodge; 4WD, low-range, first gear in spots
n E. bank of Pend Oreille R. (17 km.).

MCCULLOUGH ROAD: turn W. off Hwy 33 south of Big White turnoff; at 700 m., keep R; @ km. 4.4, road to KVR parking lot and campsite goes L; @ km. 4.7, reach Kelowna Nordic x-c parking lot; map says McCullough Road continues to Kelowna; driven 10/2010 & 3/2011;

OK FALLS 201 FSR: turn L off McCullough road @ 700 m; after 5 km., Idabel Lake Road goes R; driven 3/2011

IDABEL LAKE ROAD: go R off OK Falls 201 FSR @ 5.7 km. from Hwy 33; go 1 km. to Idabel Lake Lodge; driven 3/2011

KETTLE RIVER FSR: goes N., leaving Hwy. 33 at Westbridge; drove 116 km. of 2WD in July 2000

SOUTH FORK FSR: turn R. off Monashee Highway, ca. 18 km. W. of junction with Kettle River FSR; 21 km. of 2WD driving to parking lot for The Pinnacles; see Hiking Trails, Vernon Outdoors Club for details; drove July 2000
