London Ridge is the ridge coming off to the SW of Whitewater Mountain. It has great wildflowers and larch colour in season.

Drive: From New Denver, turn up Kane Creek Road just before Three Forks and the Sandon turn. Drive up the main road and turn right up a long, over-grown road with many switchbacks as far as possible. It ends at the McAllister Mine site at 5800′.
Can continue up the road north up Kane Creek. A trail leaves the road at 3570′ to the left (NW) and goes to Marten Mt and Alps Alturas.
Route: Walk east up to the saddle on the ridge and continue northeastward, hiking over a number of humps. In season, the flowers are very good. In the fall, the larch produces a stunning show. From the saddle, can walk SW out to the end of the ridge toward the weather station.
