IRON PEAK 2510m 8250′
English Peak is 0.8 km north of Mount Denver. It and the two summits of Mount Denver are surveyed points. Iron Peak is almost 2 km NEE of English Peak on the north side of the Sharp Creek drainage.
From the English Pk/Iron Pk col (7650′), it is an easy scramble up the SW ridge of Iron Pk to the summit.

Routes:
1. South Ridge. The flat-topped south ridge is Class 2 on granite (some dirt). FA unknown
2. East Face. The east face (talus) may be descended in several ways; with no single route.
3. The southwest ridge of Iron Peak is reachable from the base of the face (Class 3 with evergreens; FRA 1979 (see Routes 4, 5).
4. Northeast Ridge. The northeast ridge of English Peak is Class 3 (see Route 4).

The 1979 KMC Climbing Camp was at Hoben Lakes. The party passed over the east ridge of Mount Denver, climbed the southwest ridge of Iron Peak, then the northeast ridge of English Peak and descended the west ridge to a lake.
