Trail: Not maintained. The trail starts just behind Cove Creek cabin on an old skid road and leads to a patch of coastal salal (Gaultheria sp.). An easy day outing through some impressive ponderosa pine.
An old trapper cabin overlooks the lake. The cabin has a fireplace, is open and can be used.
